We are talking about the human genome are we not? How can you map something that has more than a physical attribute? I believe we are a three part being. Physical, Spritual, and something that links the two - mind (for lack of a better discriptor). Our science can only map the physical. Given my small knowledge of reality it would seem to me that for every 'physical' manifestation of a 'genome' there would be another two that we can't see right 'next' to it. If this is true the human genome is a three part ascending double helix. With many more links than we know.

very true & our concepts of how things work is still constantly changing! they can map genes to chromosomes and compare these maps across different species! they are just starting to realize that all the so-called "junk" DNA we have actually serves a purpose in regulating gene expression.
Gene functions can be predicted, but how 1 gene is modified within an individual's genome really can not be! So many other things can affect the expression of 1 gene & it may affect the level of expression of many other genes! That's what makes us individuals |

i think his concept of evolution is interesting but i also think its unrealistic in some aspects relating to species development
