I am looking for a friend to hang out with, do new things, maybe travel together! I am interested in seeing this incredible country of ours. I have not yet been to many of our great parks and look forward to exploring them. The giant redwoods are a must do on my list, as is Yellowstone and Yosemite. I really prefer hotel stays vs. camping, but I am deinitely open to either.

Due to an early retirement, I travel on a budget, but always manage to have a great experience. It would be fun to rent a motor home and travel to some of these places. I also like weekend "roadtrips". It refreshes my soul. Whether it is a 3-4 day cruise excursion to a warm climate or a nearby town. The Carribean Islands are definitely a favorite of mine.

I would like to find someone to share museums, comedy clubs, music, or whatever new idea you may have. I drink very little alcohol, but do enjoy wine or a cocktail. I enjoy reading, I find TV relaxing. Fireplaces or campfires are mesmerizing to me. Water areas are very peaceful.

I have 2 grown daughters and 4 grandchildren, who I see often.

I am also an animal lover. All creatures great and small (except rats and maybe snakes). I have had many different animals over the years and feel they are necessary for me. I would like to know someone who shares the same view and has the same respect for all species of life.
