That's my new favorite quote - it's great! It's in Terry Goodkind's 'Stone of Tears'. So, following that line of thought (before I go off on a tangent elsewhere): I love to read any kind of book but Sci Fi/Fantasy books are what I mostly read - stuff that deals with other worlds and magic and stuff like that. I like medevil stuff and other things along those lines. Telepathy and teleporting stuff is fun, too. Of course, a good romance novel every now and then is always a good fallback.

Whew, now that I'm done with that train of thought, I'm free to wander off the tracks and head in a completely different direction...if I wanted to....which I don’t (right now), So I think I'll just head in a somewhat different direction: it's still about me but not about books any more. Hi all!!! I'm Rowan. I'm moving to San Diego on Sunday and I'm hoping to make friends and meet some cool and great people. Yes, fine, truth: I'm also looking to meet The Guy for me (I'm a hopeless romantic hoping to meet the right guy) The scooby-lowdown of me: I'm 5'2"/steel-blue eyes/shoulder-length brown hair/fairly decent shape/cute/very ticklish/give a pretty decent massage/very kind and caring/very sympathetic and empathic/great personality/tomboy but can ‘clean up’ really good when have/want to-and I enjoy wearing dresses and dressing up every now and then, too/ I’ve got a very twisted sense of humor-which, for the record, is very hard to show on these things, it's so much easier in person...grrrr/love to read/a writer-have my own book of poems/short stories, now I'm working on the copyrighting and publishing/family is invaluable and comes first-always./if I make any friends here, they will come at the top of the list of priorities and importance, too/romantic-love roses and any kind of flower(alive, please)-so for points: a flower is always a good idea/ very sensitive person(sorry, I cry easily)/looking to try many new things this year/love to ride motorcycles-don't own one, but I love to ride and I want to do much, much, much more of it!/I want to travel more(been to Tijuana twice and Australia once-I'm going back there some day and hopefully soon and maybe with a great guy)......ok, that's enough, I don't normally talk this much or this much about myself...I'm a writer but I hate these things, it's so hard to just describe myself without sounding like I'm coming off bragging or something...or to make it sound good-my humor is twisted and doesn't show very well in these: plays on words and puns and just obscure stuff is what I like - trading wits is great with a person that has some. So I guess that's something I should say: if you are normal, don't bother: I’m very weird and very proud of it....*whispering* normal people scare me...*normal voice* And anyway, why would anyone want to be lamron?

Now that I've babbled about myself (I do that a lot, too....babble, that is, but not always about me), maybe I should try to state what I'm looking for....might be helpful to whoever is reading this (thanks by the way, for reading). Ok, so what I'm looking for: a great guy who will treat me right and not try to hurt me, who will accept me for who I am and help me try to become better. You've got to have a great/twisted sense of humor and great personality-a great smile and laugh are a must because around me and my family, that's what you'll be doing a lot of-I promise. Value family immensely and friends are valued as well. I'm looking for a guy to be taller than me (which isn't that hard, I'm only 5'2"), physically fit, very active and willing to teach me to do those activities, too. Looks are important to me, but I'm not that shallow where looks are all that matter - I just like a really good looking guy (and who doesn't?)
