I just moved to the DC area and am looking for friends first, a relationship second. Basically, what happens, happens. I'm a degree holder in graphic design and technology but have been in the field of counseling and teaching at risk teens with behavioral, emotional, and learning disabilities for the past 3 years. I enjoy movies, old tv shows, reading, singing, aggressive inline skating, going to the beach in summer, collecting rare sneakers, finding new restaurants, and of course art. What I am looking for:
Someone who has more than just a job as a reason to get up each day. A person with well defined goals or at the very least, ideas and a passion for life.
Someone just as comfortable with going out to eat as well as staying home to hold each other while enjoying a movie.
Someone just as eager to share an opinion as they are to listen to others' opinions.
What I am NOT looking for:
Someone who exists only to live at clubs, get drunk and party all night. I understand going to a bar for fun, but it should be only an occasion for something different, not a reason for living. I am very seriously against getting drunk. If you feel like you NEED or even worse WANT to be drunk at least once a week or more, do not contact me. I understand a social drink or two, but going too far and acting like a fool and getting sick is not my idea of a way to spend time.
If you are just looking to have sex or want to know the size of my parts behind zippered door number 1, please look elsewhere. My belief is that sex is a reward for a wonderful relationship, not a substitute for masturbation.
If you are only into exterior appearance and care little about what makes up a person inside, do not contact me. While I agree that physical attraction is important, it is secondary to what a real relationship is truly about.
