First, a few things about my profile and what I'm looking for:
1. Separated is chosen because my divorce isn't final yet. It's been over a year and I won't lie and say I'm divorced when I'm not officially. Feel free to ask about it if you want.
2. I have drinking slected as "Occasionally" even though I'm not really a drinker. I was alcohol-free for over 20 years but I have gone to the bar a few times in the last year. Once or twice a month maybe.
3. Yes, I smoke. If you base your decision on that, I'm sorry, but then I guess you'll never get to know me.
4. Even though it says "Dating", I'm looking for a monogamous relationship, long-term being the goal. I need to get to know someone before I make that commitment.
5. I don't have an age restriction, or any restriction for that matter. I don't judge based on such trivial things. I only ask for maturity and honesty. Maturity is NOT defined by status, job, money, clothes, age, etc. Maturity is defined by thoughts and actions...
6. My screen name is simply a reflection of my attitude towards my age, not my real name.
7. I'm looking for someone honest and with good morals. Someone who's not afraid to speak the truth, even if they think it'll hurt.
8. I want someone who trusts and loves whole-heartedly or at least tries to.
9. I want to find my best friend...



What do I say? I'm shy but I can be warm, funny and entertaining once I loosen up. Sarcasm and wit are part of my daily life. I will always say what's on my mind, I don't believe in keeping things bottled up. I feel the need to help everyone, whether it be holding a door open, repairing appliances or even just lending them an ear. I'm true and loyal to those deserving, which is everyone UNTIL they give me reason to not be...

I have fun in everything I do as life is too short not to enjoy it. I am a big kid at heart and I'll never grow up, so please don't ask me to. I still play sports whenever I can, roller hockey being my preference. I play dolls or "vet" with my youngest daughter and video games or ball with my oldest. I also like to spend a relaxing day fishing, canoeing or even snuggling with a good video.

What gets you goat about a profile???

1. 50 year olds who only date 20-51 year olds. Have your mid-life crisis, then get back to me. :)
2. Drama free / no drama. Sorry, don't believe that one for a minute.
3. Names that include "sexy, hottie, princess or queen".
4. Descrpitions that proclaim "Looking for my Prince" or knight, or king, or savior.
5. "I have one" listed under profession.
6. "My kids come first" - this should go without saying
7. "I'll fill this in later I'll fill this in later I'll fill this in later I'll fill this in later I'll fill this in later"
8. "Guys are creeps" or similar, of course only when posted by women in lingerie, bathing suits, or discreetly hidden nude pics.
9. Lies in the profile details that are admitted in the body of the profile.
10. "To be well with man soul for marriage and love" ???? Russian spam???
11. "11 blocked, who's next?" I actually sent a message to one of those asking if I could be next, she tried to have a convo with me, I messaged back that she didn't get it and blocked her...
12. "Last seen over a month ago"
13. "You can't handle this/me" Hmmm, do I wanna be #327?
14. "DD" (drug free/disease free) At least the illusion is there until that's stated, after publicized, requires careful observation.
15. "no FWB, been there, done that" see #14
16. "I don't make first contact" obviously something wrong with that one.
17. When you get to the profile and you get the real story about the couple who just want to...... see #14
18. Age 18-99. Why even bother to state that?
19. "I know what I want/am looking for" Sorry, there isn't anyone who will measure up consistently.
20. "I'm up for anything!" Really? Does that just pertain to drinking and partying? Not to be confused with "Try anything once"
21. Song lyrics. Filling space or nothing original to say? The title of the song would suffice. (unless original, then more than appreciated)
22. 20 or 30 year old pics...
23. Profile pics with multiple people in them and no indication of which one the user is.
24. "'n' year old woman looking for friends/email" (with the same types of pics from #8)
25. One far off pic of the user and 5 closeups of dogs, a glass and a throw pillow.
26. "No sex on the first date" What??? I have to take you out twice?
27. "How many times do I have to tell people bla bla bla bla..." (even better when paired with any drama disclaimer)
28. The word "discreet"
29. Duckface
30. "Contact me on my yahoo IM" (I always figured spam)
31. All 18 pics are in bar settings. Hmmm, what do you wanna do tonight?
