I have a place I go to that not many people know about. The bark of the trees smell like
chocolate, and they touch the sky. The smell of breakfast and the campfire tease the senses
and create anticipation of the upcoming flavor. As I wander and explore this forgotten
wilderness, I see nature the way God made it, and become a part of it. I believe everyday could
hold this kind of beauty, and the love shared by two people this kind of glory. This place has
seen fires, storms, and the fury of nature, yet it still has awesome beauty and strength.
I long deeply to have a relationship like this place, committed, enduring the storms of life,
growing, bending with the wind, overcoming the test of time. I know you are out there
somewhere my beloved, and I wait for your embrace. Let us walk away from the past,
and step into the future together as new born children in the forest of life.
