Friends describe me as entertaining, fun, comfortable, intriguing, passionate, inspiring, and witty. And yet, somehow, I'm a well-kept secret.

My priority is loving God and loving people. If you're not tracking with me on that, we probably won't connect on much. But if that resonates with you, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm a different sort of person. I live life more intentionally than most people do. One example is that I watch movies for more than entertainment -- I like to be challenged. I like to see how art and life's lessons inform my choices and reorder my priorities.

Some of my favorite movies are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, Love Actually, anything by M. Night Shyamalan, Bandits, Baz Lurhmann's Red Curtain Trilogy (Strictly Ballroom, Romeo and Juliet, Moulin Rouge), and many more. My favorite musicians include Karin Berquist and Linford Detweiler (aka Over the Rhine), Derek Webb, and Sandra McCracken. The kind of guy I'm looking for is someone who loves God and has a committed relationship with God; someone who shares some of my interests, but not all; someone who is comfortable with just being together, not always needing to talk; someone who can carry a conversation if need be; someone who is committed to taking the leadership and responsibility for his own sexual purity as well as the sexual purity of his relationships; and someone who can handle me . . . because, I'll be honest, I'm a lot to handle ;)
