Hmmnn...trying to describe myself isn't easy. I'm a mix of Filipino & Chinese. I was born & raised here in Chicago...the North side, so I'm a Cubbie Fan. I'm pretty witty, have a sarcastic sense of humor, a bit stubborn especially if I can back up what I think. I'm a pretty giving person...I'm a people pleaser but I do know how to say no. I have a tendency to try & make sure my friends & family are happy. I'm very loyal. I'm pretty honest. I will tell you the truth even if it hurts. The pain isn't my intent but I'd rather not lie.

I'm a good mix of being serious & having fun. I like really good conversations full of witty banter. I love long conversations where we can talk about anything. I enjoy laughing, you know, the kind that makes your stomach ache & your cheeks sore. If tears are shed, even better.

I have a very close-knit family. I do have a rather large extended family my mom was #3 out of 10...so I have a butt load of cousins I'm pretty close to as well as my own siblings. They are very important to me...as well as my batch of Wild Wiener dogs.

I love learning about new things, places to go, food etc. I'm willing to try something new at least once. (As long as it's not completely dangerous) I'm not an outdoorsy person but I do like walking along the Lake Front or going biking or hiking. I like snowboarding & snowmobiling & snorkeling.

I like comedies, sci-fi, documentaries style programs but no reality TV, action adventure movies mixed with the occasional touchy feely kind. TV-wise- I like The Office, Earl, Lost, Heroes, 4400, HBO's Extras, Couplings. Just saw this awesome movie called I Am David on IFC. It's based on Anne Holm's North to Freedom. It really is a must see for anyone.

I'm an avid reader. Aside from the pile of Nursing & Psychology texts, the last book I read was Umberto Eco's In the Name of the Rose. I enjoy a good book that I can become completely enthralled by.

I love cooking & baking. I'm a foodie. I enjoy watching the Food Network & the Travel Channel. I love to travel. I love the South West. I would love to explore Europe.

I enjoy music from oldies to alternative. But don't ask me whose singing...I never know the names of the groups. You've probably seen me...I'm the one in the car singing & dancing until I get caught...lol.
