Happiness is evenings at home and cooking for someone special. Happiness is the ocean, an awesome work of God and going there often to feel His peace and serenity. Happiness is being reminded that He is in control. Happiness is being blessed to have always lived close to the ocean and I thank Him for it every day. I've been widowed for the past 10 yrs. and have learned to be independent since. I'm very social, make friends easily and have been blessed with a great sense of humor and quick wit. I put my friends' happiness before my own. I have good judgment and extremely intuitive. I don't argue unless the issue involves life or death. Life is too short. If compromise is not an option just agree to disagree - although making up can be tons of fun! YUMMY!!

I learned good values and ethics from my close knit,loving & affectionate family who are always there for me in times of joy and sorrow. It's equally important to me to be there for them. I’m basically happy, confident and content with who I am. I don't feel that I need to be completed by anyone but would love to complement someone's life and share the rest of what life has to offer with him.

Who am I dreaming about? Will my dreams come true? Will it be serendipitous? I don't know but I"ll love if it happens that way. I'm dreaming about the one who I'll find myself laughing with everyday the one who'll make me feel special in every way.

I'll know it's him when I feel butterflies in my tummy and get weak in the knees when just thinking about us being together again. I won't settle for less - it wouldn't be fair to the one settled on.... I'll know it's him if he intuitively makes my heart smile ... He calls or text messages me during the day just to say "I love you" or that he found the little love notes I slipped in his pocket or brief case.

The guy I dream about is someone who takes pride in the way he dresses and is well groomed. He is a hopeless romantic and not afraid to show it. He is a guy who loves public displays of affection and is eager to want me to be an essential part of his life. He will love my family as much as I love them. I'll love his family because they are important to him. He is spontaneous and knows how to keep the romance going. The guy I dream about loves to kiss, cuddle and snuggle - I am woman . . . hear me purr!! (giggles)

My dream guy is a decision maker, is self-confident, has a good sense of humor and is easy to talk and be with. He is financially responsible, mentally stable, comfortable with who he is, what he wants and is not willing to settle for second place with anything. The guy in my dreams is someone who will be comfortable conversing with my friends and family. I believe a guy's worth is judged on how he treats his parents and friends, his integrity and most importantly his love for the Lord.

I desire, admire and respect a guy who is not afraid to commit to a monogamous relationship. I do want to be in someone's dating rotation. I want to be his one and only. It can't be any other way.

It's a definite plus if he can cook and/or play music but certainly is not a requirement. I read this quote somewhere:
