I have a miniature inflatable Bozo punching bag on my desk. I insist my ties be properly tied. I believe a man can never have enough good suits. I spent seven years rarely going to class, and have a few degrees to show for it. When storms roll in during winter I suddenly become a morning person for the drive to Taos...or can be found pining at my desk. I read, mostly non-fiction at the moment. I do not discuss Harry Potter.

When I sit down before the TV it is most likely to catch the News Hour, the Line, the McLauglin Group, other PBS shows (notably Austin City Limits). When I sit down in front of the computer it is most likely to browse the Chicago Tribune and New York Times.

I keep myself in shape. I used to cook, but got out of the habit. I keep my place tidy. I have too much music. I wish I had more time to enjoy art in this town, and I wish the museums in this town were bigger and better.

Would be really keen to meet someone that can carry on intelligent conversation and is knowledgeable about past, present or future major events. At the same time, knowing when to throw in the towel and just have some senseless fun is always a plus.
