About Gemini44
I'm just trying to be myself.... and happy. I'm currently dating someone very special and joined JSH to meet new friends.
The past few years have been.... disappointing, depressing, and empty. I went through a few awful relationships, managed to graduate from college only to work in a wasteland of a town, and managed to lose everything I liked about myself for a while.... But I've been trying to find those again with the help of my beautiful Lex.
In a perfect world, I would surround myself with inspiration and passion. I like looking at artwork (or anything really) that moves me. I like listening to music that brings out an emotion I hadn't truly felt in years. When I found a person who could do that to me, I was in awe.
I suppose I would consider myself a creative type of sorts. I draw, sculpt, write, play an instrument.... I enjoy submerging myself into projects that allow me to touch upon who I honestly am in a world that doesn't always encourage that person to come out.
Some simple statements:
I appreciate honesty over many things.
I like finding humor in what I can--even lobsters.
A laugh can fill a room with a story.
The mundane can be beautiful if you know how to look at it.
The words "I love you" can be meaningless if they come from the wrong person.
Bugs bother me, because they move too quickly.
Candy and Mountain Dew can make almost any situation better.
I have proof that dating sites can have very positive results.
Sometimes fingernails can tell someone how much you care.
You can learn something from television.
You can never be truly happy unless you're honest with yourself.
A squirrel can direct traffic.
Taking risks can be frightening but rewarding (like with cooking).
Idiocy can be funny but has more of a tendency to be absolutely annoying.
I never wanted children--not to give birth to one or date one.
Sometimes something beautiful can be hidden under a pile of old papers.
Well, there's a lot I could say, but I'll leave it at that for now.

There are days I imagine myself in a living room, looking out through a large picture window. There's a road outside; not a big road, but big enough that a few cars pass by now and then. I can see the house on the other side of the street -- it's green, dark green, a little worn but serviceable. I don't know if anyone lives there or not. It doesn't really matter.
Because I'm standing at the window, waiting for you. Knowing that one day, a car will pull up in front of the house and you'll step out. And all of this waiting is just a prelude to the day, the moment, when I can hold you and never stop holding you.
I don't mind waiting. You're worth it. I'll stand here, keep the vigil going. Good things take a little longer. And I love you.

I'm not much good at writing, but I just wanted to say that Gemini44 is the girl I've been waiting for all my life. She is the perfect combination: intelligent, creative, communicative, loving, caring, honest, generous, helpful, sensitive, and beautiful. I cannot go more than 0.02 seconds without thinking about her, and that's OK! I love this girl with my entire being and look forward to the day we can be together for the rest of our lives! Gem, when you see this, please understand that I will always be here for you, and you can always count on me. All I want to do is spend the rest of my life making you happy and seeing you smile....!!
