I've lived in six other states before moving to TN in 1992 so have been blessed by a variety of life experiences and by meeting lots of different kinds of people. I consider myself outgoing, warm, easy to talk with and have a good sense of humor. I am loyal and dependable, not easily angered or argumentative, and am an encourager by nature. An ovarian cancer survivor of thirteen years now, I've learned that things are not as important as people. I've also learned to appreciate the simple joys of life and the strengthening of character that comes from facing and overcoming difficulties. I'm active at my church, Sunday School, and within the Tres Dias community. I am seeking an honest, caring, non-smoking Christian man who also loves the Lord and finds joy in worship and serving others. My townhouse is decorated around The Good Shepherd and I have a baaad addiction to collecting stuffed sheep. I don't have a lot of family and aren't able to be with my little granddaughter as much as I'd like so wouldn't mind spending time with a man who has family ties of his own. Formerly, I used to teach elementary school, but I now process mortgage loans. I'm a detailed, fairly well organized person with a high work ethic. I value financial responsibility so am not high maintenance. Looking to share laughter, faith, affection and a quality relationship with someone who also doesn't relish living out these latter years alone. By being honest, I admit that I could stand to lose more than "just a few" pounds; but likewise, I am more interested in the character and values of a man than his appearance.
