As I walk into the door
the amber glow of the flames

About me:
I am a lot simpler than I appear. I enjoy the simples things such as walks in the park, playing tickle monster with my son, and doing little things for my partner (like making dinner, leaving them love notes in their pockets, or texting to say hi). I enjoy the sun on my face and the wind in my hair. I find that it is relaxing to hang out on a blanket on a warm summer day, just listening to the birds. I like camping, hiking, and canoeing... oh and I love swimming. As much I as I can be a tomboy, and get my hands dirty, it is still nice to dress up every once in a while and try something new like a concert, play or museum.

My life:
I am goal driven, motivated, determined, compassionate, passionate, silly and I am sure that I could make the list longer.

Education: I will graduate in May 09 with a Bacholors in Social Work. I plan on going right into graduate school. My focus will be on macro social work: policy/legislation, organizations, evaluation, and research. I hope to open a domestic violence shelter which will support all individuals effected by domestic violence/initimate partner violence. After gaining in field experience, I hope to seek tenture at a four-year college/university.

Hhhhhmmmm..... I brush my teeth while in the shower. I am an advocate for gay rights. I like cherry wine. I have great friends! I love living in the city even though I am a country gal at heart, I still rock at karaoke, I will go to Harvard for graduate school (I am determined!)
