Hey, my name is David, you can call me either David or Dave. I'm a Milwaukee native, but recently moved to Chicago for school. I live on Michigan Avenue, right in the middle of everything, and I love it! Kinda hard for me to put everything about me on here, so...guess you'll just have to talk to me to find out! :)

I love the company of other people, but I like to have my personal space, too. The greatest feeling to me is to just have someone near me to be there for me when I need them. I'm looking for a relationship with someone that I can feel secure talking to and being with. Sometimes I get a little nervous talking to women, so I have trouble meeting people. However, once I do meet someone, I generally don't have a problem talking to them. I enjoy intelligent women, but also people who are a little laid back at times. I live in downtown Chicago, go to the Illinois Institute of Art for Web Design and Interactive media, and I love walking around the city, as well as working with my self-started web design firm, Unicode Web Design.

For music, I'll listen to just about anything you play, except for rap that objectifies women or "smokin dope". For movies, I enjoy comedy, romantic comedies, sci-fi, and a good musical every now and then (Moulin Rouge, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, etc.). I'll even watch a chick flick or two. I'm pretty open-minded, just spring it on me and I'll be honest and tell you what I think.

I'm going to treat you like a person, not a pet, not a child. I have deep respect for women, and everything that they contribute to society. However, I require that you treat me the same way and show me the same respect.

I'm a family-oriented guy. I talk to my parents often, and I try to go home for the holidays. My grandparents are important to me, and I want a woman who is willing to meet them if things get serious.

I'm a caring person, and I don't hold grudges. I can get into deeper detail about this, but you have to talk to me about it personally, I'm not writing it here.

As far as religious beliefs, you can have yours and I will respect them. I'm not here to change what you think or what you believe in. I have Christian values, but I'm not an active Christian. I expect the same respect from anyone that I am dating.

I love English and computers, I've been told I'm an exquisite writer, but I choose not to let my ego get the best of me. I have my knowledge, but I know there's always someone who knows a little bit more than me. I'm always searching for more knowledge. I have a great long-term memory, but a horrible short-term memory. If I watch something a few times, I can usually memorize parts of it. I did debate and speech in high school. Wasn't great, wasn't horrible. Once again, I can go into deeper detail, but you have to contact me and talk to me.

I prefer intelligent, opinionated women. Faithfulness is a big deal to me. If you are going to mess around with someone else, don't even bother with me. I like it when you just hang around with me, or even take a walk with me, instead of requiring an adventure every day. I like women that I can talk to, not women who hide their feelings. Physical traits aren't a big deal for me, but for your information...I'm a sucker for short girls and brunettes :) Also, I feel eyes are an important trait, as they can provide more insight to me than any other trait does.

MATURITY, MATURITY, MATURITY! Please, if you still act like you're a high school prep, don't expect anything more than friendship. I don't want to sound conceited, but I need someone who's an ADULT. I may be young, but I try not to act like it.
