About me- Here goes.... I pride myself on being well read for one thing. I love Hemmingway, Conrad, Vonnegut. I'm a major foodie and eating out is really one of my favorite things to do. Been in the restaurant biz for a long time and love to talk food. I get excited about random knowledge. I love Bob Dylan and Ive got stacks of live Dead shows. Got a cat named China. Im honest and believe in common courtesy. Deceitful people make me ill. I like to laugh, I make myself laugh alot, but its cool Im a pretty funny guy. Im a little shy, but open up well. With girls, I always prefer a longer term relationship, or at least am open to it. Things just get better over time. Trust builds, inhibitions get lost. Thats what Im looking for.
A great date for me is a botlle of wine, some cheese, and a park. Even better if a girl will drop everything and hop a train to make that park one in Manhatten. Day trips are awesome. (I have a zoo membership, dont laugh!) Im not a total nerd, Im pretty fashionable and party like a rockstar on occassion. I think my reason for being on here is I have trouble breaking the ice sometimes. Hopefuly Ill meet someone who shares some interests and has a little time to hang out. So say hi. PS...
