blah blah blah...Ok, this is the hard part...how to talk about one's self ? Personally, I don't really put much stock in what people say about themselves because you got'a know that you'll only hear half the story, and that's edited through the prisms of what they want to think about themselves so what could I say ? Hmmmm...maybe the cold hard truth ? Well...I'm a hippy gypsy cowboy... I didn't have the classic upbringing, I haven't had the classic typical life....I've done the best I could in the time I have with what I had to do it with... I think I've come out the other end a wiser, saner and hopefully a better person... In my past I've been called (labeled) things like "hippie, bum & drifter" as well as "hard worker, good father, faithful husband", so which to believe??? Who is the REAL me ? heckifIknow...I suppose they'll decide all that just before my eulogy is presented...I won't be there to hear it so...
I do believe in being real with people, in standing up for what's right, in sacrificing for those I care for, in being kind to children and animals and in trying to do my bit to NOT destroy the enviroment. I don't believe in the power elite, following the status quo just to conform, or that money buys happiness....
The facts about me are that I'm divorced from an 18 year marriage, after that failed I sought out and found the answers as to how and why it failed, I'm the father of two grown beautiful and wonderful daughters that I adore completely, I'm a hard working guy that takes pride in his work, and I know the true meaning of love, both romantic AND otherwise...
I believe that everyone has issues, baggage and is capable of a certain amount of drama, but I don't want to hurt or be hurt so I'm wary but still hopeful that sooner or later I'll find the one for me and she'll be the real deal...
