Recently moved from Texas where I lived for 20 years, and there is no way you are getting me to go back. The mountians stole my heart. I have always loved the outdoors and this area has so much to offer so close, in Texas it was at least a 3 hour drive to go fishing or to the lake for a picnic.

I enjoy being in nature, I like watching and planting things that grow. I prefer rosebushes and hibiscus, will have to see how they handle it up here! Also love fresh veggies and herbs from a garden.

I dislike trying to decribe myself on a blurb! I am independant, self sufficent and not looking for someone to "take care of me", I would like to be in a relationship with a mutual respect for each other and life. We dont always have to agree, but comprise is nice.

I have been a registered nurse for 18 yrs, I have worked emergency room, intensive care. I have seen new life and life end, they both have beauty (weird but true) Life is extremely precious and fragile, so living each day like it means something is a great life. I take life easy, enjoying what the world has to offer, and I am pretty laid back in personality. (when you are a nurse you know what is important to be frantic about, o wait I dont do frantic, dont worry if you stop breathing we have a tube for that, if your heart stops we have ways to start it up again, if you are losing blood we will find you some, and if it is your time I will make you comfortable and get you to laugh!)

I have two daughters, both very special to me, both adults 20 and 23, ok very young adults.

If you care to share in a hike, play some tennis (i am not that great, at least not anymore) or shoot some basketball I am there. If you want to go fishing you have to bait your own hook! lol
