To tell a little bit about myself, I'm a 6th year senior/grad student at IUB, and I'm doing a double major/double masters program in Computer Science and Combinatorial Game Animation (majors) and masters in Computer Science and MIME (Masters in Immersive Mediated Environments). The programs will be complete in approximately 2 years. I am from the north side of Chicago, but attend school full time in Bloomington, IN. I come from a kind, loving, funny, and fantastic family, and we're very close. Family is very important to me, as are my friends. My friends all love hanging out with my family as well. Personality-wise, I've got a good sense of humor, and I like to make people laugh. I do come across as being serious and stoic at first, but once you get to know me (and vice versa), I'm very open and lively. I am very driven to get things done, but I also know the importance of taking a step back and relaxing. Some of my interests include hockey, video games, animation (making and watching), martial arts, and hanging out with my friends. I listen to a lot of different types of music, and I'll usually like it right off the bat as long as it's not country or rap (although there are some exceptions). When it comes to movies, I love comedies, action/adventure, animated films and science fiction. Once in a while, a good suspense movie or mystery too - hell, even a romantic comedy if it's actually funny. Horror movies I've never really been a fan of, but I don't mind compromising and doing a double feature (ex: comedy + horror).

Currently, I'm looking for a relationship. I would like to meet a girl that has a good sense of humor, somewhat similar interests to me, and is down to earth. She needs to like me for me and have a good head on her shoulders. I am a very independent person, and my ideal girl needs to be the same. Just because we're dating doesn't mean we always have to do the same things all of the time - people are always entitled to their own likes and dislikes...dating shouldn't change that. I'd also like my ideal girl to want to go out sometimes, but be content hanging out at home watching a movie, curled up on the couch with me - basically, just enjoying each other's company.

As far as kids are concerned, at some point I would like to have them, but only when both of us are ready, and our careers are established. I have a lot of respect for the single/young parents out there - it's a tough job to do, especially while trying to be a student, but it's not something I want to be involved with this early in my life.
