I have an MFA in creative writing/poetry from New York University (for what it's worth), and I read and write a lot. I'm looking for people whose interests go beyond bars, TV, summer-reads, and chit-chat. People who aren't too serious, but have a passion for something beyond relationships, a passion that they're actively pursuing and realistic about. People who are sharp and thoughtful, and care about having some impact on the world, but who are also fun, who can laugh at the Daily Show or Jackass, for instance.
