Recently very painfully separated and moved back to this area. My husband and best friend has suddenly walked out, so my number one priority is to find someone who can just be a friend. What I want most is HONESTY! I've been hurt badly and don't want to go through that again. I had vowed never to let anyone else close to me again, but eating at a nice restaurant and traveling just aren't the same without someone with you. I'm big into history and do educational living history programs as often as I can. I had previously been part of a folk music singing group, but I'm looking for a new group to sing with now. I'm proud of my celtic heritage and absolutely love the sound of bagpipes. I've even been known to toss a caber...not well, but an A for effort! I guess what I'm really trying to do is find someone who is willing to "be there" when I want to go places and do things. And I'm fairly open about other people's interests too, so don't think this is just a one-way street. I work hard and enjoy my time away from work. I like traveling and seeing new places, although returning to favorite places is also good. I'm fairly new to sailing, but the few times I've been, I've had to be physically removed from the boat...just hated to leave.
