I have reached that age where you begin to realize that negative people who need only casual people in their lives are draining; it is not hard to be gentle and sincere, but it is a lesson we need to learn because finally we come to understand what we seek is also what we wish to offer as well. It is so easy to be naked on the outside with another, and it requires a lot of wisdom to accept what we really wish is that inner nakedness of feeling at ease with who we are, especially when with another who is equally as accessible as we wish to be, as well. It sounds naive, but I imagine this is a discover all of us must come to, it seldom is offered when young and shallow.
