Hello!! Where do I begin? Well, for now I'm just looking for more friends to carry on thought provoking, yet humorous conversation! For some reason I seem to not be able to really get into a person unless they can carry a well rounded conversation. (I know, I know..what gives?) Of course, I'm sure you'd like to know a little about who I am and some of the things I enjoy. For starters, I immensely love travel. I feel it broadens horizons and opens up the mind. I travel extensively within the US for my job, but for leisure I love to travel abroad. I also enjoy a multitude of other things...such as sports, dining, art, reading, classic & foreign film, performance theatre, classic cars, motorcycles, music (genres such as alterna & electra-pop, classic rock, country, soft rock, easy listening, some celtic & new age, 70s & 80s disco....ok almost anything except polka & rap - my god, I HATE the latter), strolling around town, roadtrips, horses, boating,etc etc. I just like having the option of having choices to "pick my poison" as far as entertainment (ok, except for clubs and bars-- HATE them). For the most part, I like to get out to do things; yet in balance I,too, enjoy the simplicity of staying inside with a bottle of wine, a book, a few DVDs, engaging in great conversation, or watching a bit of television..usually sitcom (Ha! Frasier is still my fave). While I admit that I am quite reserved (dress & lifestyle), I do have a wickedly generous sense of humour to even the scales. I'm calm & relaxed in personality; thus I prefer discussions, NOT arguments.

I am already in a relationship thus I REALLY am here for online friends only and to discuss topics on the boards..please don't have me repeat that. Since I often travel away from home for my job, I am physically away from my friends here in Ga; I usually enjoy topics that come up on boards such as this so I tend to come on just to toss in a few words/views..
especially on some choice topics as frankly speaking, when I do date, I date interracially only (always have, always will..because of how and where I grew up it's natural to me). On top of that, I only date conservative metro or suburbanite professionals (I, myself, am one)... I just can't get into the..."street-wise" or even supremely rural individuals. (that's a hint for some who message me). While I definitely enjoy others who likewise share interest in interracial relationships, I also enjoy having a mixed spectrum of general friends who of course share other commonalities, thoughts, and ideas with me. I'm extremely honest as I feel it a waste of time to fabricate things.
That being said, I do not have children, do not want children, and do not want to be relagated to hearing stories about children.
That's my brief synopsis of self....but of course there is always more. That's the purpose of getting to know one another, right?

What am I seeking? People who know the epitomy of friendship. People who bring complimentary attributes to the table. I strongly value myself, my life, and my time; therefore I seek persons who, like myself, take the role of being open, honest, intelligent, fun, well versed and well traveled into the highest regard. I warn you that I can get into a frankly serious discussion on the most complex of topics, while the next minute launching into some overtly silly laughable topic, so be prepared to converse wholeheartedly...and have lots to say in the process!
