I am a loyal and honest person and would love to share all the fun and wonderful things to do out there with someone---don't want to just "hook up". If I lost you right there---oh well, bye bye. Love traveling to out of town places on weekends. Love sitting outside for dinner or a drink. Like people watching. I can be the life of the party or very laid back---depends on surroundings. Like guys that have varying degrees of energy--everything in moderation. Can be laid back or up and ready for an adventure. Like having friends and family over--yours too. I have taught for 34 years and I'm retired. Love kids that are well behaved and have manners ( no, it's not outdated---just shows your parenting skills). Like listening to music more than watching T.V.--but, I do have my favorite shows. Like hockey and baseball (Kings and Dodgers) don't always keep track of stats. Have golfed a few times and liked it. Born and raised in L.A.--Love the beach and mountains--like Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage, Laguna, Cambria,Santa Fe, Carmel, San Fransisco, Capistrano, La Jolla, Huntington Beach, Manhattan beach, Hawaii. Have been to Aruba and Caribbean Isles. prefer Hawaii). Love to ski--have skied Mammoth, Lake Tahoe, Colorado (Aspen, Telluride, Vail,Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Snowmass) Wyoming ( Jackson Hole) ,Utah (Brian Head,Deer Valley,Park City). Have traveled to Europe 4 times, China, India and Japan (years ago). Can take or leave Vegas, one day of gambling and I'm done--like the shows. Like to ride on motorcycles (used to have my own dirt bike--in the old days). Don't mind hiking in early morning or late evening--not in the heat of the day (I am a lightweight, but love the outdoors). I am more conservative than liberal--enough said about that... I build stained glass windows, make jewelry, garden, have dogs and fish, love the ballet, do volunteer work. Updating my computer skills is a new hobby and necessity. Actually like going to school--want to take classes about different religions, fine wines, computer, photography, yoga, tai chi,... Love summer nights, talking/ cuddling and cold winter days by a fire in a ski lodge (or home) with a toddy after a great day of skiing with that right someone. Like Jacuzzis and bubble baths. Don't like guys who like porno, drink heavily, are overly flirtatious, have foul mouths who are grumpy or complain a lot. In other words, I appreciate a gentleman who has nothing to hide, says what he wants and means what he says. No games. I appreciate a man who doesn't hesitate to help others, that being friends or relatives(sometimes strangers--helps an old lady across the street)--but knows the boundaries of when he's being taken advantage of. It's nice to see a guy who has his feet on the ground (and not his head in the clouds). I learned in business that you don't ask people to do something they have never seen you do. I owned my own school for six years (K-3rd Grade) and learned so much! Get in and get your hands dirty, too. Appreciate the little things in life (and indulge in the finer things once in awhile). Hate sitting in traffic anywhere--so really need to plan ahead. Love concerts still, especially jazz, rock,R & B, Motown and most oldies. Don't like country or rap. Like a lot of the music today but still appreciate the old crooners. Love Andrea Bocceli, Josh Groban, and some songs of the three tenors (gives me chills). Jazz, I love: the Rippingtons, David Benoit, Peter White, Dave Coz, Diana Krall, Tom Scott, Norman Brown,Brian Culbertson, Larry Carlton, George Benson, Al Jarreau, Boney James and Down to the Bone. Music under the moon/stars, picnic/wine and that special someone---the best!!
