As far as personality goes, I'm pretty spontaneous. Artsy, witty, fun little tart, jaded little girl, and bitter to boot. I'm into mischief every now and then, but who isn't? I love meeting people who have no idea what film I'm talking about or who is playing on my song library, but want to learn more. Music and art are two of the most important methods of communication. I have a list of artists/bands that would stretch from here to Pluto and back 5 times.

I signed up for this site in hopes of meeting new people, whether it be friends, dating, etc. I'm just out to be more social. (Surely that's why I'm on the internet, right?) I'm tired of meeting people in all the wrong places. (I don't believe a bar is the appropriate place to meet the love of your life.) I'm a believer that personality shows through conversation. There's only so much you can find out about a person with a checklist profile. Some think it's a lazy way around it, but I just let casual conversation lead to letting me know more about the person. I'm not about 20 questions. Going about getting to know someone through time of conversation is easier on both parties because there's not as much direct pressure.

I'm not looking for someone who's "down to earth". Those words are just another meaning for BORING. Also, I'll be honest and get this out of the way: yes, looks do matter. I'm no prize myself, but it's my stance on the situation. I'm not going to eliminate someone completely because they're not quite what I was looking for though. I'd like to find someone as spontaneous, if not more, as myself. I don't like being the one to decide when and where we'll go out every single time. I can't stand passive people. Initiate conversation, invite me out, take the lead every now and then.
